What do you expect walking around acting like you could hurt someone at the drop of a hat? It’s your fault, I can’t help myself when I see a potential threat, it’s just nature. If you don’t want to be stabbed for looking threatening then cover up, wear something baggy to hide your muscular body, walk around by yourself so you’re less intimidating and keep your head down when I walk past so I don’t think you’re going to target me.

This is a Kayapó mother and child from the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest and while she might not get shit for breast-feeding in public, her entire people is being forcibly evicted from their ancestral homelands in order to make way for the massive Belo Monte Dam, which will make thousands of indigenous Brazilians homeless while simultaneously destroying a large part of what is commonly referred to as the lungs of the world.

In other words, western moral codes aren’t currently this mother’s biggest concern.

Meet Vixey.

She was rescued as a puppy from a fur farm. If she’d stayed there, like millions of other foxes, she would have been anally or vaginally electrocuted to become part of a fur coat for companies like INTERMIX.

Fur-bearing animals, like foxes, are no different from the dogs & cats we live with and love. If we don’t stop their slaughter, no one will.

4. You are at the doctor’s office and he has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live. Do you tell anyone/everyone you are going to die? What do you do with your remaining days? Would you be afraid?

I would only tell those who are important and close to me. I wouldn’t want people who I don’t even know to pity me and suddenly start pretending like they care. What I would do with my remaining days would probably involve lots and lots of delicious food, body suspension at least once, lots of cuddling with my boyfriend, and just doing something new and/or fun every night. I wouldn’t be afraid to die because I’m actually really curious about what happens after death. I’d be sad to leave, but I’d also be excited to find out. So I guess it would be a mixture of emotions, but it wouldn’t include fear.

6. You are walking down the street on your way to work. There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street. Your boss has told you if you are late even once more, you are fired. Do you take the time to save the dogs life? Why or Why not?

Of course. Life itself is more important than making money. I would get fired but I would feel better about myself in the end. Hell, if it was a stray I’d take it in and nurse it back to good health. If not, I’d make sure to find its owner. In my opinion it would be very selfish and greedy to just pass it by. I would probably have my cellphone on me so I would take pictures/videos as evidence to my employer that I’m not just lying as if to get out of trouble. And if they still wouldn’t understand even after seeing the evidence, that’s not someone I want to work for anyway.
